What Made CBD Oil to Be Legalized?

The cannabidiol or CBD oil is extracted from the hemp plant. Hemp plant is also called marijuana or cannabis plant. But they are a little bit different from each other simply because of quantity of delta-9 Tetrahydrocannabinol or THC that the plant contains.

The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) have specified that a hemp plant is legal to be planted, used and consumed under the Farm Bill. Hemp plant has been shown to contain just about 0.3% of THC. So, most farmers have selectively planted and bred marijuana which contain very high levels of not only THC, but also other compounds that actually suit their interests.

But on the other hand, those hemp farmers do not modify their plants’ breeds. It is from these hemp plants that have been legalized that CBD oil is extracted from. It is very important that users of CBD products know how they work.

There are many cannabinoids that can be obtained from cannabis plant. Each of them produce certain effects on the body system by interacting with the cannabinoid receptors that are parts of the endocannabinoid system. Two different kinds of receptors are usually involved. They are;

1.       CB1 receptors.

2.       CB2 receptors.
