About Concrete Leveling

The traditional method for raising and stabilizing broken and uneven concrete is mud jacking. Large holes of about 1 5/8 inch are drilled into the slab at intervals so that a concrete slurry can be pumped underneath to raise the recessed area. Depending on the conditions, some sites may require numerous holes to correct the issues, leaving significant scars.

Mud jacking is a messy, involved process requiring 24 to 48 hours for curing, making your repaired surface unusable immediately after the repair. Also, the cement slurry's weight can cause further erosion and damage to the subsoil over time, making future maintenance likely.
