11 Plus Exams: A Choice To Be Made

The 11 plus exams or 11 or more is a particular placement examination usually taken in September at the start of Year 6. The material moves from one country to the next, yet most of the questions will be focused on a few or more of the following kinds of questions: English, algebra, verbal thought, and non-verbal thinking. Two or even three or more examinations may be used. The measures have to be alternate from time to time, e.g., nonverbal thinking or verbal thinking, and the tests have to be the same, e.g., two verbal thought tests. There are two key examination sheets for the 11 plus exams: both GL and the CEM exams have a heavy focus on the core skills in English and Maths; including orthography, accentuating, phrase comprehension, interpretation, and jargon. Non-verbal reasoning assesses spatial perception, design spot, and legitimate ability.
