LIE DETECTOR TEST Measures Body Physiology Changes

A LIE DETECTOR TEST, also known as a polygraph test, is given to a person to determine if they are telling the truth or lying about certain questions. The polygraph machine measures and records blood pressure, pulse, skin conductivity, cardiovascular and respiration. At the end of the test the APA polygraph expert that gave the test will examine the reports printed and determine if the person was truthful or not. There are many situations when a polygraph test is given. Some are personal, and others are legal. They include:

·         Investigations
·         Child Custody Cases
·         Employee Fraud/Theft
·         Pre-Employment
·         Cheating Spouse
·         Domestic Relations Disputes
·         Post-Conviction Situations
·         Sporting Federations
·         Bribery Accusations
·         False Allegations
