The cancer childhood is not something infectious like
that of viruses. It does not spread with social contact as in the case of
COVID-19. Cancer is the abnormal growth of the cells. It grows when the
standard control mechanism of the body ceases to work. In such cases the old
cells don’t die and as a substitute starts to behave abnormally and
uncontrollably develop new atypical cells. Then these cells associate together
and form a corpus of tissues called a tumor.
In cancers like child leukemia, the tumors are not
formed. Leukemia is probably the peak known cancer in teenagers and toddlers.
At the present time, almost 1 out of the 3 patients suffers from leukemia.
Mostly, the child undergoes ALL (Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia) while the others
went thru AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia)
