We have often seen people saying that there is not enough time for them to do all their daily work in a24-hour day. We also might have said it ourselves. It is evident that the life of all people is ruled by time. The keeper of the time in every house is either the night sky or the state map which is the clock hanging decoratively in our drawing room. These days’ clocks have become an unavoidable part of every home. They are seen in almost every room starting from drawing room and ending up in kitchen. Bathroom is the only room where no clocks are used at all.
From the early days of humans there has been a
continuous search for finding out suitable methods to keep track of the time.It
was done in ancient days by monitoring the moon’s phases or keeping track of
the stars or sun for knowing the time that has elapsed. Instead of the present
day night sky, state map etc., in those days only hour glass and indexed
candles that burned at a steady speed and water powered devices were the time
keepers of those days.
Fascination with time machines from the ancient times is still continuing. The olden clocks are still mimicked today, but modern technology functions behind these clocks. There is not a single home in the US which is not adorned by wall clocks like a state map or a street map. These wall clocks brighten our spirit and surroundings. No matter what your personality and decor is, one will find many varieties of wall clocks like a night sky or a distance clock. These clocks are fully functional, extremely decorative and practical for all purposes.
