 Government of Massachusetts has passed appropriate laws legalizing the medical use of marijuana. The law came into effect with effect from December 15, 2016. Every adult can cultivate up to 6 plants of marijuana and can cultivate up to 12 plants in every household where there is more than one person.

Every person can purchase and possess cannabis from any Massachusetts Dispensaries and Cannabis Storesand give it to other persons also. He can manufacture marijuana paraphernalia and sell to other adults also.

Additional legal protection for marijuana consumers

Child custody: Testing and finding positive for use of cannabis will not become a reason for action against the person relating to child security unless he has specifically caused any inconvenience to a child.

Medical care:Purchasing of cannabis from Massachusetts Dispensaries and Cannabis Stores and using it will not make a person unsuitable for medical needs like organ donation or some special medical procedures.
