Different organs found in the mouth

The saying, health is wealth is not a fallacy but really, a valid one. Good health is needed for optimum performance as humans. When your health is sound, there is no mountain you will not be able to climb and there is no hurdle you will not be able to overcome once you set your mind to do it. There are so many things that enhance sound health. Prevention they say is better than a cure. Every part of the body needs to be well taken care of so that they will be able to serve us as long as we exist. The body comprises of cells, tissue, organs, and system and each of these have their responsibilities in making our bodies function properly. The failure of any these is detrimental to our wellbeing. Aside from the fact that the pain we may feel will make us uncomfortable, it also has the ability to shortening the life span of an individual.

We have five major sense organs and these include the eyes, the ears, the nose, the tongue, the skin. The tongue is a flat slipper-shape soft organ located inside the mouth. The mouth also houses the teeth which are usually of different shapes and they all have the function they perform during the process of eating and swallowing. In addition to these is the saliva that makes it easy for the food to be rolled in the mouth while eating before it is finally swallowed for digestion in the small intestine.
