Dr Mark Altman has
been in the field of Orthopaedics for over 20 years and has garnered peer
respect as well as patient appreciation due to his extreme dedication to his
field. This is proven by the fact that he has a dual board accreditation in
Orthopaedics and in Orthopaedic Surgery of the Hand by the American Board of
Orthopaedic Surgery. In order to become and continue to be a member of American
Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) he has had to undergo a certification
program and must fulfil certain practice requirements. He also has to undergo
recertification exams every 10 years.
