How
a split air conditioner works

The compressor is fed with a refrigerant
and gas where it is then pressurized
·
The pressurized gas is able to go
through a succession of tubes which condense it into liquid
·
The liquid with all the pressure travels
the condenser tubes to the expansion joint
·
It is becoming gas again with the
reduction in pressure at the expansion joint
·
The gas passes back through the
compressor and the process is repeated
·
The unit draws air from the room and
passes it over to the evaporator coils
·
That is what cools the air which goes
back to the room through the blower
·
The air continues circulating through
the split air conditioner up to a certain temperature is arrived at.

The AC shuts automatically
