Although this might seem strange
to some users, it does not necessarily mean that a person should dial the
support phone number and get more information about the prompts. This is
because the prompts are simple messages that help to reinforce users to get
their Quicken ID rather than using Intuit Quicken ID. This is because Quicken
and Intuit split up. When you follow the prompts and update your Quicken ID,
you will not be blocking updating current version of Quicken you are using. But
if you have not received any prompts and getting small errors like Oops, Time
Out, etc. use Quicken Support Number to get help or simply update your current
Quicken version.
Once you update your current
Quicken version, a screen will appear with the options of creating a new
Quicken ID. You will be using the new ID to access all Quicken applications
including everything related to the software. In some cases, people get worried
that their files or data will be lost after updating to the new version. While
this worry can force you to contact Quicken support, you should not since the
new ID will not have any impact on your files or data. Any data you had in the
previous version of the software will not be changed.
