The new laws relating to buy weed online, Canada are explained

It is advised that Canadians may check the legal applicability before trying to buy weed online and check whether it can become a potentially illegal activity. 

What is the difference between usage laws and provincial dispensaries? 

Recreational use of marijuana was legalized by the federal government. But many of the details were left to provinces to decide. Factors like legal age for using, and aspects of dispensary operation etc. have to be decided by the provinces. These laws are the deciding factors regarding which stores could function on October 17.  Some decisions taken by different provinces in this regard are discussed below: 

Alberta: The Government is allowed to operate an online canada dispensary and the private owners are not allowed. 

British Columbia: Dispensaries can be owned by the government as well as private business men. 

Manitoba: Only private resellers are allowed to sell cannabis. Growing of marijuana at home or using it in public space is not allowed.

Northwest Territories: Government owned liquor stores will start selling cannabis products. Private shops are expected to join in due course of time. No kind of private buy weed online or its use in a public use is allowed.

Nova Scotia: Sales through physical shops can be done by the government only. Online sale can be done by private parties also.

Nunavut: One is allowed to buy marijuana online only through the government run stores.
